Investing in your Community Manager is one of the most impactful decisions you can make for your coworking business. Whether you’re developing an experienced CM or onboarding a new hire, the CMU Membership equips them with everything they need to thrive—without having to start from scratch.
Your CM isn’t just another employee—they’re the heart of your business. They drive sales, improve member retention, and create exceptional experiences for everyone in your space. When you give them the tools, guidance, and support they need, you’re not just investing in their growth—you’re investing in the success and profitability of your business.
Designed specifically for the unique challenges and opportunities that Community Managers encounter
Quarterly planning workshops ensure your team is always aligned with your business priorities.
Access to 5+ years of proven strategies, tools, and templates—all organized for quick implementation.
Best practice calls and Slack community offer ongoing peer collaboration and expert guidance.
Today’s workforce craves purpose-driven work, opportunities for professional growth, and the ability to contribute meaningfully. These needs are especially true for Community Managers, who play a pivotal role in coworking spaces.
Meeting these expectations isn’t just “nice to have”—it’s essential to building a thriving business. Whether you’re a single-location operator or managing multiple spaces, your team’s growth fuels your business’s growth.
We’ve all been there. You hire a new Community Manager, full of excitement about their potential. You commit to showing them every aspect of the business and providing ongoing support.
But then…a fire needs to be put out, a contract negotiation takes priority, or your personal life demands attention.
The result? You leave them to figure things out on their own.
...but you don't have the systems in place to provide an organized on-ramp and you don't really have the capacity for ongoing development.
You are not alone! You commit to developing our team beyond the basics. You want to be the mentor who equips your team to excel. But as an entrepreneur, you’re juggling too many roles to dedicate the time and energy they need.
Instead of a structured path, they get piecemeal training, leading to frustration for both you and your team. Take the training and development off of your plate and make sure your team has access to a training and development platform and peer community that does not succumb to.... squirrel!
Training requires a specific skill set, and it’s not one every owner has—or enjoys. Your strength is strategy and growth, not building training modules or spending hours side-by-side teaching the details of the role.
Don't beat yourself up. But also don't leave a big gap that will impact your bottom line. Well-trained, engaged Community Managers will sell more memberships and retain more members.
Your primary hat as a "Startup CEO" is to grow the business. And maybe you're doing this while running another business or two...or holding down a full-time job. You likely just don't have the time to train and develop your staff. And you don't yet have the scale to hire a training and development group.
That’s where Community Manager University comes in.
We handle the training and professional development, ensuring your team has the tools to thrive while freeing you to focus on your big-picture vision.

CMU has helped me anytime I hit a roadblock in my role. It's easy to feel like we are the only coworking space experiencing an issue but when I turn to CMU for help I am always met with tons of helpful advice, opinions, and best practices. It's nice to face challenges with the help of other coworking spaces who have overcome similar roadblocks.
Don't open a coworking space without signing up for this and knowing what you are getting yourself into. It's worth it but I wish I would have known so many of these things before I opened or right when I opened.
