Community Manager University is a training and development platform for Coworking Community Managers with a focus on helping them attract and retain members.

We are hiring for:

A Community Manager for our Community Manager University program. Very meta!

Our membership serves a community of Coworking Community Managers from around the globe - and an important aspect of our membership is our private community . That’s where you come in.

This role is 100% remote.

We are looking to start at 5 hours a week/20 hours a month.

Salary: $35-$40 per hour

About Us: Everything Coworking is a leader in the coworking industry, providing training and resources to coworking community managers. We believe in fostering a supportive and engaging community for our members to ensure their success and growth.

Role Overview: The ideal candidate will manage and nurture our online community of coworking space community managers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring members feel supported, engaged, and connected, contributing to their progress and the overall success of the community.

We will meet weekly for 30 minutes to review key initiatives, answer questions, etc. Aside from that, this role requires you to take ownership and initiative!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Onboarding & Management:

    • Take ownership of setting best practices on new member onboarding and initiation into the community. Our Community Manager University members should feel seen, valued, and like they’ve found their new professional home.

  • Member Engagement & Support:

    • Develop and execute a communication plan/post schedule for the forum that keeps members engaged, connected, entertained, informed, and inspired. (This is the priority.)

    • Engage with members daily during US business hours.

    • Answer member questions and provide links to relevant resources.

    • Get to know the members’ superpowers so that you can leverage the talent of the community to answer questions and provide perspective.

    • Report to the team on trends, topics, and concerns within the community.

    • Collect, organize, and share member stories with the team.

  • Monitoring & Reporting:

    • Track community-related KPIs.

    • Keep community SOPs updated as needed (minimum quarterly).

    • Work with our VA to update FAQs and other member resources.

Key Qualities of a Great Community Manager:

  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks and guide members to relevant content and resources.

  • Great Communicator: Excellent written and oral communication skills to represent our brand effectively.

  • Emotionally Intelligent: Capable of handling conflicts gracefully and maintaining a positive community atmosphere.

  • People-centric: Passionate about working with and serving people, with a background in customer support, retail, or hospitality.

Required Tools/Resources:

  • Community Forum Platform (e.g., Slack)

  • Zoom

  • Active Campaign (If you don't know Active Campaign, should be able to learn it quickly)

  • KPI Tracking Tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Airtable)

Review Cycle:

  • Monthly review of community engagement and KPIs.

  • Quarterly update of community SOPs.

  • Bi-annual review and update of member onboarding process.
